Braided tranny lines ????


i want to replace the hard transmission cooler lines with braided lines but what size should i use # 4 or # 6 ? btw i've got a performance automatic c 4 if that matters

Use -6.

15 feet should get the job done and give you some extra to boot.

i like the braided because of its look but its your choice,pushlock also works as well they will both get the job done.

STOP!!!!! you need to be 100% sure that you are using line that is specified for transmission fluid... transmission fluid will tear up normal rubber line... so whenever you order your line, be sure to tell them that it's for an atf application

We are talking braided line, not auto parts store rubber hose. Its good for transmission fluid, gas, diesel, engine oil, gear oil, coolant and good to 1000 psi.

braided or not, it's still rubber inside... as long as the manufacturer says it's good for hydraulic fluid, then fine, i'm just making sure youre not asking for trouble...

Show me a braided hose that is not good for transmission fluid, gas, diesel, engine oil, gear oil, coolant and good to 1000 psi......
