supercharging my 302 help please


needed to know parts i need to upgrade to support a supercharger and not blow my engine IE. pistons rods? thanks

fuel pump, good MAF, good injectors and good safe tune.

you can run a blower on stock internals bro.. just keep the boost low.

the stock internals are just as long as you're going to run low boost i.e. 6-8 lbs. if you start upping the boost then you're definately going to want to have stronger internals. You will probably need larger injectors also

my friend just built a 302 car with a powerdyne bd11a all he did was throw on a good set of heads, he's only running 24 lb/hr injectors with a 190lph pump and adjustable regulator. let me tell you though, that car will smoke the tires well into third...

No one can give specific advice for what you "need" or what is logical until they know a HP level you are aiming for. A ball park HP estimate is needed first and is based on the final components on the engine and the boost level you plan on running.

A car running 6# boost on a stock engine will need a lot less than a car with a high revving 347 at 10# boost.
