is this posible

Hello this is my first post so i hope i get some good feed back thinks. I just bought a 89 gt convertible it needs nome small fix is but nothin much. what my question is can i have 300+ hp with no power adders.i HAVE to get some what of good mpg since it is my daily driver. i would like to use 3.73, bbk headers, and mid pipe "dont know if i will use a X or H yet" i will most likely use a steeda cold air kit not in the finder if i can,i will also perfer to use magnaflow cat back if i could. i dont know what h/c/i i should do to get this much power if could even get it to this power range. i have been told to use a E303 ford cam i i have read that a comp cam would be good also, i have seen alot of people useing trick flow intakes and BBK. hor heads i have been told to use gt-40 heads but i have heard lots of compleats about thim. or should i go with a tick flow top end kit or some other sort of kit.

thank you Cameron

personally, i would mix n match so to speak... i like the holley systemax intakes, trick flow heads,. and really a cam of your choice (preference),. but trickflow sells a nice kit, as well as edelbrock etc.

depends on how mechanically inclined you are,... if your the kind who likes to change his/her own oil etc.. i would recommend doing it yourself.. Not very hard, just takes some time
