Piecing a good combo. suggestions?

It's a bone stock 88lx 5.0 HO motor(vin E) with about 120k on it. I ended up buying the car from a guy in need of some quick cash so all the parts listed are new in box and I don't know how much research was put into this combo so tell me what you think and or any suggetions.
Trick Flow TW heads TFS51400003
Edelbrock performer p/n7182 cam
Trick flow upper and lower intake
Msd 6a box
MSd Blaster coil
msd 8584 distributor
msd 8.5 super conductor wires
summit timing kit p/n sumg6620
bbk CAI
75mm Grantenilli 19lb calibrated maf
75 mm edelbrock TB #3826 and spacer 3829

im just trying to play it safe and im a little apprehencive knowing that some of the above parts# are 351 applications ie. cam and distributor however, aslong as my motor is a true HO the firing order would be the same so would or wouldn't i run into any probs with the setup? do i need more or less of anything or sumthing missing. im wonder about fuel and what roller rockers would be good for this application? thanks again fellas.

those are o ringed heads. What are your plans for this car? I would also opt for a diff cam.

TFS cam or custom cam ftw

Trick flow is made to work together. if all your paying attention to is lift you should double check the duration of both cams.

No need for o-ring heads. I would pick a different cam such as a Comp Cams XE274HR or XE282HR. A Trick Flow Track Heat or R-series intake will work. Skip the MSD 6A box, it will do nothing for you at this point. No need for an MSD distributor either, especially the 8584 distributor which is for a carbureted 351W and wouldn't work in an EFI 302 no matter how big of a hammer you have. 302s and 351Ws have different distributors. I probably wouldn't mess with throttle bodies at this point unless you could find something used. If I was going to buy a new throttle body I would by an Accufab and nothing else. Trick Flow makes roller rockers as well. Get yourself a 255lph fuel pump and a Kirban adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

well im really just looking for a streetable weekend have some fun 5.0 car. all this stuff came with the car so i just wanted to weed out any problems before the first bolt gets loosened. so far i looks like i can box up the msd stuff and cam and look for sumthing else? Darell- why no need for the heads? i thought TW were pretty good stuff? i mean im not rich but i can probably afford to get the rest of the TF stuff. i just wanted to know what was going to be a paper weight or headache.

The heads are good heads but no need for the oring versions which is what the part number you listed is. But since you already have them, use them.

thanks darell and everyone else. i don't have any idea oh who to trust on headers/exhaust running TW heads (im not in an emissions req. county). im looking for something functional and real throaty. i've always like the sound of turn downs. im not going to drive this car everyday so it doesn't have to be quiet. if i had to make an obtainable goal for the car it would be able to run a old C5
z06. so what 405hp/395tq give or take?-Iownastang

I like my bbk headers but most companies out there make a really nice header and while your at it go ahead and get lt's, bbk makes a nice x and h pipe also and you can use a muffler of your choice. At this point stick with a 2.5 in exhaust also. if you want a loud muffler any 40 series flow is going to be real loud with dumps, but like i said its all in personal preference.

So your goal with the car is to make 405 hp?

more or less id like to hand a vette its ass and a camaro ss. that s the big thing around here there'r not too many foxes worth a damn riding around. I want a strong running reliable 302 and keep most of my ammenities ie. A/c and P/s. if i had a liscence plate it would say "SSHATER" lol. if its any consolation i'll be running 8.8 with 3.73's and Tremec WC manual trans.

I saw someone suggest an xe282... that's gonna be too big with the tw heads, i can almost guarantee ptv issues because of the valve pattern of the heads... he'll have to have his pistons fly cut or replace them all together... the only issues i see are the dist., it wont work, nothing wrong with running the msd box, but minimal gains there. i'd go with a tfs1 cam ($175 tops brand new) sell the dizzy, and other cam, sell the maf, you'll probably want 24 lb/hr injectors with this nice hci combo you're gonna have... and maybe see if you can find someone to trade you your o-ringed tfs heads for non o-ringed.. unfortunately i dont see you hanging with a zo6, but i dont see why you wouldn't be able to outdrive a stock-ish ss or ta... my friend had a very similar set up but with gt40 intake and it ran very well...
