Head advice for an old newb
I've been out of the car scene for about 35 years now and just bought my first Mustang. It's an 82 hatch with an 89 roller motor and a 7003 "Z" T5. My intention is to race it with my son next year. It's got a full cage and gutted interior. The motor is basically stock with a B303 cam, BBK headers, Offy intake, and a 650 double pumper. My goal for next year is new heads, Weiand supercharger(I like Roots), 8.8 rear, and various other goodies. My question is what heads do you guys think would go best with that blower? I intend to run about 6 lbs of boost until I rebuild the lower end with lower compression pistons, then about 10 lbs. Any advice is appreciated.
