ProM MAF
Ive been looking a Pro-M MAF, but im little confused at what type do i need, cold air or regular. Ive got the stock air filter box, but since it takes the air outside of engine bay, does it mean that i need the MAF to be cold air tuned?

Did they mean all Pro-Ms or just the cai-tune ones?

I'm just going on memory so I could be wrong, but I think the cold air ones have a screen just before the electronics to smooth out the turbulent air coming off the elbow on a CAI. Its not needed on a car with a stock airbox.

Whats up whits this Pro-M? I came across with PMASS homepage, and it says there that Pro-M manufacturer has went out of business on 2005. Yet Pro-M MAFs is been sold all the time at Jegs and 50Resto to name a few. It seems strange to me, how that can be?
Im thinking that if there would be any problems with the MAF i could not get any customer support with Pro-M, maybe i need to look for another brand. Suggestions? |

That "cold air meter" is a gimmick. People have been running without cold air intake specific meters since 1986.
The original company did go out of business and PMAS bought some of there equipment. SCT makes a good mass air unit. SCT Automotive Performance Products

Pro-M is back in business. I think i'm going to buy the Pro-M 80mm for 30lb injectors. But theres no way i can fit adjustable fpr under the s/c intake pipe, even the stock one needed to be modified. Can those bigger injector work with stock fuel pressure?
