Clutch Fan question

I need to replace the clutch fan on my 88 5.0. I know it would be better if I went ahead and did an electric fan conversion but I am not going to right now for various reasons. My question is can anyone tell me which fans from which vehicles will work. I found all of the metal ones that I could ever want but I would rather go back with the plastic type. Will the ones from a 3.8 or a 4.0 work? The ones on the 4.6 looked too big. Any help would be appreciated.

You can get a spacer and a cheap reverse rotation flex fan, a new clutch and either a replacement metal or the OEM style plastic fan for it. All should work fine.
