suspension ?s

ive been doing some research on some suspension parts and so far im looking at upr upper and lower control arms and possibly springs and shocks. i came across a tubular k member and ive been reading here about a lot of people wanting to switch to them for weight issues. i found one for 695. now my questions is would this be a good mod by itself or would it only serve good purposes w/ a lot of supporting mods. also im trying to save money by doing my own work so how difficult is swapping these out?

You should be able to get a K-member and front control arms for less than $695.

A k-member and control arms will shed a bunch of weight off the front of the car and add more header clearance as well.

I have an aje k member and a-arms in my car, made putting long tubes on a lot easier. Car transfers weight pretty well too.

Really cleaned up the engine bay too.

If you do put a k-member in i would put coil overs on the front

i would let the headers sit until you do the k.... esp if you can do them at the same time... the steeda kit is a qa1, you can do it piece by piece and you should still be under $700.. k member it's self is less than 300... and that one comes with spring perches so you can do it as a stand alone mod....
