That isn't nescisarilly true. You do get a much stonger and multiple spark so it will slightly increase gas mialage. As far as performance increases it would not net too much in a stock/near stock car.

Who said anything about gas mileage?

Its not going to net you anything in a stock or near stock car

Not specific to the MSD digital but since this is an ignition topic..
Has anyone have any experience with the Summit ignitions? They seem to have almost equal specs to the MSD offerings on paper but have a lot more features (window switch, rpm triggers, no need for pills, two stage rev limiter etc..) and they are a lot cheaper.

^ Interested too. I might have to pick one up and try it out. Looks like a better performer than the MSD, but for how long?

Get the harness, it adapts to the factory harness so you don't have to cut any wires.

None on a stock or mild engine.

Do you have any proof of this fuel economy increase or did you just get that off the MSD website?

Well anything that makes your engine more efficient usually helps in the gas mialage area as well. And in addition, yes I have been using their products for alomst 10 years in almost everycar I've owned. Not only does it help slightly with gas milage but it also makes the car run smother. So no Darrell I'm not some kid who just grabs random info off of websites and tries to cite them with no real world experiance.

I've never seen any increase in fuel economy with an MSD ignition or any other ignition for that matter. I don't know anybody that has either. Nobody ever said you were a kid, which is really irrelevant anyway.

Well on a stock engine you will see a slight increase in fuel economy. Now if your adding it to a car with larger injectors head work etc. no your not going to get better fuel economy because you are off setting it with the other gas guzzleing mods.

And the only reason i brought up not being a kid is because of the way you came at me about reading that online, as in I don't know what am talking about.
