Any Ideas???

brought my mustang up to local dyno shop to get tuned with custom chip
great power.....408rwhp @ 4900 rpm but car will not go over 5krpm
its like it's hitting a rev limiter
any ideas would be helpfull

Valve springs or fuel are the first two things that come to mind

there was some carbon build up on cap and rotor
could that be the problem???

Why would carbon build up keep the motor from getting past 5000rpm if it already reached 4900?
