I think everyone knows that and that's why I gave 2 different combinations. One N/A and one S/C, one with shorties and the other with long tubes. Both with different cams, etc. just to show the versatility in the Typhoon. And for the price you can't go wrong.

I have just about every EFI and Carb intake on cars here now and very familiar with all of them ported and non ported. Not trying to argue at all but like I said. The Typhoon is by far the best bang for the buck IMO. I am not about to argue opinions but that's mine.

I know you are a very educated/experienced fella, that I can tell from your other postings so I definitely respect your opinions. No argument intended.

Both are great, trick flow looks better but the edelbrock has more HP.
If you ever need the gaskets for the upper trick flow intake let me know. I have 3 brand new ones in a box at my house.
The Typhoon is very close to the Edelbrock in design just a lot less expensive. I am sure most of you know how that happened already so I won't explain that part.

I have done more than a few Typhoons, but if you keep in mind that a good use Edelbrock is about the same money, I'd buy the Eddy first. Higher quality - but, the Chinese stuff has shown improvement with time.

I couldn't agree more!

I'd take a used Edelbrock over the Typhoon when available but if buying new then the Typhoon would get my vote.
