windage tray problem

so i installed a mac windage tray while i had the motor out and it seemed to clear everything just fine when i installed it bt when i fire it up the crank sounds like its hitting it. it had a "built in crank scraper" and i think thats whats hitting.

so my question is could i hoist up the engine enough to get the oil pan off and adjust the tray? i really dont want to pull the motor out again to deal with this.
