PA. performance sell good alternators and Powermaster sells nice ones too.

3g alternators can be found on some tauruses and all SN95 stangs. they do require some rewiring. not much though and there are lots of write-ups on the subject.

I'm not saying a 3G isn't better but I'm curious as to why a 3G if you can get a 2G to put out the same amps? BTW, most people have to slightly modify their alternator bracket when switching from a 2G to a 3G

ok i bought a 130a 3g brand new with a new battery. my old alternator passed the tests for voltage but they couldnt test amps so i just went with the new 130a 3g
