car trouble need help!
I have a 86' mustang body with all of the runing gear out of a 90' modle in it. I just rebuilt the motor in it not to long ago and it ran for a litle while. Then the fuel pump went out and it ran for a litle while longer I've been messing with it a while. It will run for abought 15 minutes and then cut off. Then if I take a test light and put on the negative side of the battary and touch one of the wires going into the ignition module a few times it will crank back up and run for abought 15 more minutes. When I touch the test light to the wire on the ignition module something in the disributer will click. I've had the ignition module tested so I know it is good. The car while cut off when driving it and siting still.

really sounds alot like a faulty/shorted ignition switch, since you say it cuts off while driving. hard to say for sure but its a $12 part if you want to try it.
