I say daily driver but it doesn't go out in the rain (no big deal if I get caught in it though) and goes away for winter. I only prefer a 347 because I can use some of my old parts and don't have to make a 351 fit. Or should I just make the jump now to the bigger engine?
Nothing wrong at all with the windsor, just need to realize you need headers, intake, oil pan, distributor. Maybe a hood, depending on the induction being used.

AJstang your goal is achievable... all it takes is well matched parts and a good engine builder... If you wanna make some power call jay allen or ed curtis or whoever tickles your fancy and let them help you get proper parts, etc. etc. fordstrokers is a good place... Jim is a great guy and will help you as much as he can...

I was thinking fordstrokers because I can get the 347 block, heads, and custom grind cam at the same time. Then order the intake and carb and use my old oil pan and distributor, My engine now only has 44g on it so I know the parts on it are still good.

Those are good numbers! Are your heads worked over? I wasn't aware of a 195cc runner on Canfield heads, unless you had them ported and re-measured.

my 195's were truly OOTB... straight from Canfield to Zane Bates (my engine builder)... I ordered from Jay but I had to wait on the heads and to save time jay had them sent straight to Zane.... He normally inspects the heads people order form him

There 195's, what your seeing is very old numbers and data. A canfield is essentially a TFS hi port head.

If I do a carbed 347 can I use my same distributor from my efi or would I be better off getting a new one?
