some don;t like the gt40p heads because of the straight angle sparkplugs which will hit the headers exspecially on a turbo kit.

I only spent about $2,700 in parts for DIY twin turbo and
cheap out on anything. Tial gates and BOV and good $400 TT intercooler.
No iffy ebay turbos or intercoolers or off brand wastegates.

Its very easy to do using shorty heads, a metal cut off saw and small welder.
No need to know how to weld. Just tack it all together and pay a local
performance shop or muffler shop to TIG it together for $100 .... or less.

Yeah old and a bump but IMHO, it is better to search and comment on existing threads than ask the same thing over, over, and over again without searching like most people do.

p heads are torque heads. E7s are much better for boost. I wish I would have known this.

ill be doing a mild turbo set up on my 88 this summer, have most of the parts and have only spent 800 dollars, only need a pump and gauges now (wide band, boost)
