the purpose of the break in is to rid of all the metal shavings out of the motor. Usually after about 500 miles everything should be good to go!

um I dont know who builds your motors but if he told me to run it for a while to get rid of all the metal shavings I would put my foot in his ass....you should not have any metal shavings in your motor...the reason for break in used to be for seating the rings to reduce oil blow by but that was old school cause the cylinders were left a little rough now with new boring procedures and materials used to make these parts from what i understand its not really a factor anymore....i could be wrong there is a fist time for everything...lol.

so you think it is the selonoid?
we do have the button stater, and it does start, but the problem is somewhere between the key and the selonoid.
if you run power to the selonoid it starts.
and we ported them ourselfs. so there could be metal shavings, and the rings were file fit so thats another thing, so both of you are right.
but i could snap pics of the engine insde the car but unfortunately, i didnt get pics while they were off of the engine. sorry
