Removal of tailshaft housing
How do you get the tailshaft housing off of a T5. I'm replacing the speedo gears and the rear bushing and seal. I have the trans cross member removed, driveshaft, shifter, speedo cable and all the bolts that hold it on. It will slide back about 2 inches but thats it. What am I missing?

THANKS. I saw what you are talking about and thought it might have something to do with that but wasn't sure. Didn't want to start beating on it blindly
