T56 swap into 95 5.0
I have just acquired an IRS and T56 from a 03 Cobra for my 95 GT .I know how to install the rearend but will the T56 bolt up to my 5.0 ,If not what do i need to make it fit ?

I did it in my 91 LX and heres what I ran up against.
1 St the T56 is longer which requires a remount of the trans brace. 2nd The T56 being longer caused interference with my exhaust. The trans mount was in place of where my X pipe should have been. Im not sure if these will have any bearing in the SN95 but its worth looking into. |
