what are these heads????

my buddy has a set of heads sitting in his garage and i would like to know what they are.

what i could make out on them was EM3, it also had a 5 and a 78 in big numbers.....what are they?

if i was to guess i would say the 78 was the year

are they ford?

If the casting # starts with E they are made in the 80s and probably junk.

If I had to guess I would say it is just to the right of his procharger...

id say he relocated the battery to the back and it is just mounted on the inner wheel well
