15 x 9 weld wheels on fox

Hey everyone, right now I have 275/50 15 mickey thompson drag radials on stock 10 holes right now. I did this because I didn't want to buy some racing wheels this year, but next year I'm wanting to get some. I was wondering if anyones had an 15x9 wheel with a 5.5 inch backspacing on the rear on a fox, or if anyone would know if this would make the wheel/tire stick out too much. I still have the stock rear track width. Any input would be appreciated thanks.

Unless you roll your fenders....the MTs will rub.

I know this first hand.

A 9" Weld with 6"s of back space rim will work though.

Sorry I forgot to mention I have the fenders rolled and I have adjustable LCA's, do you think the tire will be even with the fender?

thanks for your input.

Yes they will work i have them on my 86 GT. The only time they might rub is when you hit a big bump going fast. But all in all they work good and dont stick out at all.
