enough clearance?
I have an 88' Lx. I am putting in a 351w carb motor. I have decided to go with a victor jr intake. Will I have enough hood clearance with the 3/4 inch drop mounts and a 2.5 inch cowl hood?
Thanks |

ya you should have enough hood clearance with the hood bein 2.5 cowl hoodbut but your goin carb you prob. get a small air filter height wise (maybe not) you'll see when u get it in.

With the drop mounts and a 2.5 cowl it will be close but should clear a low profile air cleaner if you don't use a carb spacer or nitrous plate. If you don't have the hood yet go 4", it looks better as well as gives you enough clearance.
