Manual or auto? You could get a Cold air intake, or a short throw shifter. Or maybe put towards some good rear performance tires?

What all have you done to your car?

You could always ditch that catted x-pipe and go with an O/R x pipe?

hahaha, well the no cat x-pipe sounds like an idea but I don't really want to have to change that every time for smog here in cali. Well i was thinking about a cam for it eventually. Give me some ideas for a good blower cam if there is one that would pass the sniffer.

i hear the TFS stage 2 is a good cam for a moderate HP mustang. Depends on your HP range. What size injectors are you running now? Do you know how much HP your making?
Another thing that you have to remember is depending on the cam you get you have to do some work on the heads depending on the lift on the cam of course.
Btw just though of it, you could get a meth. Kit? Add some HP and its reasonably prices. But its over $100. but thats about 1/3 of it, unless ya get a smaller one. Or ya could replace those heads major increase in HP, but sometimes major money too. You could maybe find some used ones cheaper, or port your. Just ideas. Hope some of this gibberish was useful, lol. If not sorry

Find a used set of gears. They can be had for around 100.00 dollars sometimes and will be one of the biggest bang for the buck on a stock 5.0L. If you can install them yourself, you'll be close to your budget.

because ive tried that twice,.. and and even with professional installation didnt work out well,.. could both be from dousche bag sellers but.. 1 set the ring gears had missing teath(not shown in the pic i saw) so i didnt bother to install them, and the ones i actually had installed looked fine but blew up my rear end,... maybe its a preference thing,. but i will never never never buy used gears again. BIGGEST waste of my money
