tons of smoke

I took off my upper intake to put an adjustable fuel pressere reg. on and I bolted everything back up. but now I have massive amounts of white smoke and there is antifreeze coming out of the exhaust. Is there a vacume mistake that would cause this?

You only took the upper intake off? Did you mistakenly attatch a coolant line to a vacuum port?

Why change the head gaskets? If it didn't do it before you had the intake off then it is not the head gaksets. Its very doubtful that a head gasket went bad during that time. You probably have better chances winning the lottery.

i kno theres a coolant line that plugs in back by the number 4 cylinder onto the lower intake mani, perhaps u accidentally crossed that one with the vacuum line from the fpr to the fuel rail over by the number 8 cylinder.

yeah its been fixed for a while

oh yeah....bump

When I was taking off the upper intake, I was going to clean the throttle body but it was corroded to the bolts real bad. So I got a little pissed off and tried to force the egr plate and throttle body off , then I said fuck it I will do it later bolted everything back together. It turns out that I cracked the gasket in between the egr and intake and I nicked the egr pretty bad. So when I started everything back up the lines that run to the egr were just dumping the fluid right in the throttle body. lesson learnt' lol
