I'll post some up once I get all my body panels all put together and it looks like a car again lol!
UPDATE: The 4 cyl currently in it has a knock, but it runs. So atleast the fuel system works and the gas guage reads correctly. I'll prob use the 4cyl electric fuel pump and good carbed regulator to plumb the fuel system.

GOD DANG IT'S UGLY!! HAHAHA!
Front end is near done, going to leave it off to yank the blisteringly fast 2.3 out motor goes in prob early late november! Putting new glass in right now and block same waves in the 1/4 panel.. The car had been hit there at one point as evidence of previous filler. Rest of the car is super straight, perfect interior, NO RUST, 4cyl car, so chassis aint all twisted yet. perfect pans. Got those wheels and tires for 20 bucks pretty tight for some rollers! To refresh you guys, i wanted to do a turbo stock 302, but ended up buying a friends old 'street motor' out of his 89 gt. Motor specs: 302 (standard 89' 302) arp bolts Edelbrock performer rpm heads scorpian 1.7rr's tfs stage 3 cam rpm intake holley 750dp electronic distributor Lontubes BBK o/r h and custom catback with tails ![]()

Nice build man, I wish I had more time and cash to throw into my Notch. Luckily she runs good and strong, I am gonna try to get my gears done this month along with figuring out what I'm gonna do with the battery.

battery in the trunk cleans up the engine bay so much and puts some weight over the rear wheels!

Yeah the previous owner started moving it and removed the back seats and put it on the passenger side where the seat cushion usually goes. I kinda want to finsih it and put it in the trunk but I'm not keen on hacking my car upt o put a shut off swtich in.

Awesome man, I'd appreciate it. I already have a battery relocation kit on my Cobra but haven't found a safety switch I want to put in. I am thinking about getting another tail light and running the hole through there and just switching it out when I go to the track.

Both doors are block, filler from a bazillion door dings. I think the chick that had this car before me liked parkin next to buggy returns or something :|
I bolted everything up for a test fit and all the body panels line up pretty damn nice! Trunk is done, hood is done, finishing up the bumper, both fenders are done, working on the doors and roof. Both back a pillars and rear 1/4 are in perfect shape, few dings here or there. Still contemplating how i could shave the trim off and the bumpers not look funny. ![]() ![]()

Here ya go Boost. It's a really clean switch up under the car! since it's below the bumper, you have to draw an arrow for track time, so we just use a dry erase marker, mark it, and wipe it off afterwords.

holy late update batman..
school has been kicking my ass and been working full time! Traded my cobra for a 240sx + cash so i could catch up on tuition fees and spend a few bucks on the mustang project! Just ordered: Mallory three port regulator Ram Heavy Duty clutch kit, had to put the king cobra clutch in my cobra before i sold it inline adapters and fuel gauge fittings for both my vehicles. Got tired of body work, so I stopped for a while.. even though the body work is mostly done. Motor should be going in here in a few weeks. Going to bring his drag car over and swap it over real quick. Been yanking out the radiator, all the a/c stuff, the efi harness ect so I can paint the engine bay. Same friend that is selling me the motor is selling me a built 8.8 rear and some old school saleen mesh replicas. It's coming to gether! pics soon! Cheers! -Randy

Boost,
here is the long overdue picture.. It's off my friends street car, so he didn't want to cut up the bumper or tail light.. so at the track all he has to do is take a dry erase marker and put an arrow pointing down to the switch.
