line them up and weld them in. Just make sure you clean the metal on the car real good so you get god penatration. Not really any way to mess it up.

Make sure the weight of the car is on the wheels when you install them as if the car was sitting on the ground. That is very important.

why don't you redo them, instead of taking a chance in messing up your ride

Well, how much do you think it flexed??
I had the arms out pretty far to even out the weight so it would try and act as if weight was on it...

Ill get the car going, and I find the car is pulling hard im going to cut them out, and do some more sturdy threw the floors ones..

Brett!

Its going to flex alot when you don't have the suspension loaded because its a unibody car. When you raised it up by the frame rails the front hung down and the rear hung down. Now since you welded the connectors on that way the car is stuck in that position. When you have the suspension loaded (jack stands under the axle and frong control arms or on wheel ramps) the car is sitting as it would be normally.

Darrell, you think it will really be that bad??
I know its like that for cages, but than question, I wanna get a 6pt done soon, should I wait to see if the car pulls before I get a cage welded into it??

I'd redo it immediately if it was my car.

Good. I had an '84 GT that was so bad, I had to pick the car up to get the sub connectors to fit. I welded them to the front, and the rear of the connector was 8" below from the rear frame. Once the connectors were in place, not only did the doors shut like they did when the car was new, but the T-Tops sealed much better. That car also had cracks in the floor.

Wow, i would of never thought that it could get so bad that the doors dont even shut damn. Did you ever drive it like that? If so im sure it was horrible yes? Well good to know, and nice to see that ya were able to shut those doors, probably felt like a new car.

Yeah why risk it, it shouldnt take that much time, just a day project if all goes well. And from what everyone is saying well worth it.

The car had been beaten to a pulp, and the previous owner was around 300 lbs. easy. Not a healthy diet for a Mustang, or any car.

So, with my doors and everything lining up correctly, does it sound like the car is relatively straight..??
I mean, they still close just as well as they did before I put them on..
