supercharging my 91....
i have a 91 LX...mostly stock....so far i have 3:73 gears, cold air intake, BBK shorty headers, offroad H-pipe, SLP "Loudmouth" cat-back, 65 mm. throttle body, computer chip and custom tune... I want to supercharge it...if i do, i plan on getting bigger injectors, bigger mass air sensor, and a bigger throttle body.....how much boost will my engine be able to handle???? also, what horsepower numbers do you think i will be looking at with the supercharger???

I dont know much about what these things can take. But my guess is that you can double your HP, and 15psi is a safe number. But you need to know how to tune to be able to get it there. And no chip will get you there. But in all actuallity. If you can keep the temps down, and keep you fuel ratio correct. You can boost that thing untill your crank cant take it anymore, or until your drive train cant take it any more. Maby someone on here knows how much the stock crank can take, and the drive train. I know they aint to weak. Because I have seen many stout cars with stock drive trains and a stock low end.

8-10 psi safely with a good tune.
