I take that back, it was a 275/60-15 on a 15x10 with 6.5 backspace, not a 325. All I can find are pictures with a 28" slick. BFH and rolled fender lips.

Yes a 28x11.5 ET street fits fine. Keep in mind that M/T slicks measure tread width while the M/T ET Streets measure section width (total width). A 28x10.5 slick is approximately 10.5 treadwidth and a 28x11.5 ET Street is approximately 11.5" section width
