Edelbrock Rpm Intake

I just won a new in the box preformer rpm intake for my fox for just under 230.00 dollars. What is the difference between the rpm and the rpm ll intak as far as preformance goes??? Is that a good deal for an older intake thats new??? I am goin to buy afr 165 heads and leave my stock cam in her, will that combo work good or would a cam be a better combo?? I am looking to make her faster for the street. Thanks Mark

Intake

So does that mean it is a good street intake, or is it more of a track intake. I am planing on buying afr 165's soon, so if I need a cam I want to do it all at once. What would be a good street cam? Id like to see around 350 hp! If that's atainable. Thanks Mark

He said TFS is cheaper than AFR

The TW's do cost about $300 less, but you have to keep in mind the AFR's
come fully CNC'd right out of the box, while TFS heads will be cast ports.

That intake is much better than the stock intake. $230 is a good deal. I'd pass on the AFR heads and get some Twisted Wedge heads for less money and they flow better than the AFR 165s across the board. Canfield's are another option.

Stock the RPMI flows about 230cfm and the RPMII flows about 260cfm. Once ported, they will flow right at the same - 275-280cfm for a min cross section of a 1250 size runner. The RPMI has shorter runners. Both good intakes.
