few questions....turbo 5.0....

ok so say you have a 5.0 in a notch with the stock t-5 and 373's. internaly stock with it bored over .030 with a turbo. now i know i would have to upgrade the fuel.....but what all would i be looking at with this. how fast could i expect to go

also say you have a stock 5.0 then you buy a stroker 347 short block what parts can you not take from the old to put on

There's a lot of different sized turbos out there, so the cost is going to depend on just how much air you're trying to cram in there. Same goes for the horsepower. You're typically looking at the following areas of tuning:

1. Oversized injectors. If you were buying the largest size injectors we sell, 95 lb/hr injectors that would feed a 1,000 hp monster, that would cost $472 for a set of eight. Smaller performance injectors can be a bit less.

2. Fuel pump - you'll probably want a Walboro for that, but these again come in different sizes.

3. Tuning aid - This could be anything from a standalone ECU to a combination of oversized MAF with an appropriate chip or Tweecer. And don't forget to include dyno tuning in the budget, which can be anywhere from $100 to $200 per hour.

This will be not a problem whatsoever.. and can be achieved via a junkyard turbo build
