If you are referring to your car with the s-trim, 11:1 would be ideal... according to that handy injector chart

Is it naturally aspirated or does it have a power adder?

lol.. 9-10 is rich and 15.9 is lean.. you got it backwards.

usually a boosed car has a safe air fuel ratio between 11.5:1 to 12:1, and a naturally aspirated car likes around 12.4:1 to 13:1 as safe air/fuel ratio.

Yep, you could probably see more horsepower (and possibly even more reliability) if you leaned it out a little at WOT. If it's not misfiring while cruising, though, the cruising AFR should be good for mileage.

lol that is funny as you can see still learn, ok so the 9.0 is rich and the 15.7 is lean. Just got it back from the dyno/tune it made 462 to the wheels and is still running around15.7 crusing and 9.0 wot. The car wants to kindof die out in 1st gear around 2500-3000 rpms then it gets better shifting into 2 for some reason. I think it may be the cam ..... any ideas

9.0 is pig rich, blacken the spark plugs rich. Do you have a wideband AFR gauge on it? Also, does it do this at 2500-3000 RPM in other gears or just in first?

it does it in other gears you just dont fell it as bad as 1st and 2nd(once you are in it all the way it feels real good but if you are just cruise at 3,000 rph in four gear you will fell a surge.

its a diff o2 sensor than the stock ones, hook it up to ur exhause by welding another o2 bung and it tells you the air fuel ratio muchhhhh more accurately than the stock ones

I wonder if the reason I'm having such a surge is it's not getting enough fuel it's showing around 15.6. It runs ok in first gear till it gets to about 2500 rpm, 2 nd ok till around 2,900 rpms , 3 rd around 3,100 ithink I'm just not getting enough fuel.. Any suggesttions

If it's showing 15.6 when you're getting on the throttle, yes, you're not getting enough fuel.

Are you talking about part throttle operation, full throttle operation, or almost no throttle operation.

What is your timing setup like? base timing, tune, timing retard curve?

at idle it's (15.7) , any gear 2,500 - 3,500 cruising (15.6) surges but if I give it some gas it runs great (13.2), wot it runs the best (11).. I do have a custom tune , the tuner has looked at the problem and says that that is the most fuel he can put without hurting the high rpms... It's just a 306 with f cam , vortexh supercharger making 12 lbs boost (when it is in full boost it feels great but the boost gauge reads 20-22( don't think that's right it runs really well in wot)
