Yes it can be done and there is at least one guy here that has done it. We shall wait for the Bossman to chime in.

I'm not BOSSMAN but I have a 351w in my foxbody. A Cleveland swap is a little more involved.

My friend and I researched it quite extensively. The cleveland is much wider than a windsor. It is also heavier. The parts for it if you should break something are also alot more expensive. But it would be cool.

A 351 Cleveland is 1/2" wider and 1/4" longer than a 351 Windsor. Clevelands have bulkier heads but the deck height is 9.2 versus 9.5 on a Windsor. The Cleveland in stock form weighs 25lbs more than the windsor.

clevelands are not more expensive if you know what your doing and they will run circles around a windsor also if you know what your doing. The swap is nothing dramatic

Nope, maybe in the case of the average home assembler. None of this inline headed windsor stuff can touch the canted cleveland junk. I got a stock pile of my old iron 4v heads that were welded and epoxied and go 350+. At the end of the day inline headed stuff cant hold a candle to canted junk

How much does it cost an average guy to have a set of Cleveland heads welded and epoxied and ported and flow 350+ on a good bench? I know there are alot of inline Windsor heads that will flow 350+, I just don't know what the price difference is between the two.

I dont really know as I dont deal with that end of the retail spectrum. A normal guy doesnt run a cleveland though Im not normal but until the aftermarket came around the windsor was a dog. You wanna run, you ran a cleveland. New guys just get the windsor stuff shoved in there face, which I dont knock, its plentiful, cost effective and no doubt works very well, but it aint no cleveland IMO. I can say this a buddy of mine runs his 3100 lb fox with a 357 cleveland with aussie 2v closed heads and it runs 10.90's all day long. Its a 3500 dollar motor at the end of the day. 3 years of the shit kicked out of it.

Im just partial to clevelands, dont mind me. Another one of my members has an old set of dyno don 4v heads worked to the max and they go 375/280

Yeah, I was just curious because you don't hear too much about porting Cleveland heads anymore. I agree the Windsor motors were all dogs because Ford can produce a good factory cylinder head to save its ass. Alot of the top of the line Windsor race heads out there follow the Cleveland pattern.
