It all started after I put a lightweight carburetor pulley on my 250mm throttle body and installed my adjustable powerband and boost bar from KaleCo Auto. My local front yard Mustang mechanic thinks its making 2300 horsepowers now. He said it will run 8s no problem if I don't blow the welds on the trunkmanifold.

I don't even know where to start with this. First, there's no such thing as a carb pully, a 250mm TB would be the size of a spare tire, and KaleCo ripped you off big time.. there's no such thing as an adjustable powerband or a boost bar and your local BACK-yard mechanic is a dumb-ass. You are a total idiot darrell, I don't know who you think you are, but you're just a know it all who's probably never even owned a mustang. You probably just googled that video too.

I will attest to the trunkmanifold welds though. Thats exactly how my engine blew.

Hey man, my dad can beet up your dad and I do have a carburetor pulley on my EFI engine with a 250mm throttle bodie. My mechanic isn't a backyard mechanic....he's a front yard mechanic. There is a big difference bone head. KaleCo wouldn't rip me off either becuz my dad's friend's brother's stepsister's exboyfriend's dog's former owner works 3rd shift in the warehouse so I'm hooked up. Your just jelus becuz my car is faster than yors.

21 hours? How much of a grace period do I get? I'll go put the belt in WD40 now. Do you think used engine oil would work better? What about synthetic?

This is an older picture. I've since cleaned it up a bit under the hood. You can clearly see my carburetor pulley and adjustable powerband.....and my 250mm throttle body.

Not really. This car might be sold soon. I had a couple of guys ask me if I wanted to sell it. Of course it is for sale like everything else I own. I might pull the blower and intercooler off and sell it naturally aspirated. The car only has 40,000 miles on it. Someone will pay big money for an extremely clean low mileage GT.
