speedometer cable


going to the junkyard today at lunch, is there a way to tell if they arent worn out?

yea if they are not broken or if they are still looking clean like urs did when u first got it. If u didnt look at it then just amke sure the connections on the end arnt breaking. Also make sure that when you turn the transmision that they turn at the dash. Also make sure they are not bent.

Is there a certain way you have 2 put it into the tranny? It should just slide in right,

You have to unclamp it first on you tranny. Then screw it in. Make sure not to screw it in to tight or you will break the belt inside. Just be careful with it because they are very fragile.
