if 50 bucks is to much to spend on a diff rebuild them you derserve to be one wheeling it or go and weld the so you can hurt a set of tires or maybe break an axle, and i bet you dont have c clip elimnators so if you break one have fun when the whole wheel goes rolling past you on the high way

You can get the carbon fiber rebuild kit for under $100 and it will be good to about 400-500 hp for a decent number of hard street miles.

Im not sure if you read much of the posts. The dilemma is that im not sure i wanna spend 60 bux and time andeffort rebuilding this current rear end due to the fact that im getting a replacement in a month or two. So i basically weighing the options i have in front of me,.. does this make sense?

I don't see what the problem is with dealing with a one wheel wonder for a while. I think it is pretty stupid to weld the spider gears and create a junk rear end that is good for scrap. If you just leave it be or fix it the correct way then you will be able to sell it for about $200 or so when you get your new rear end. If you weld the spider gears, the rear end isn't worth a dime to anyone anymore.
