Steering wheel question

I hate to look like an idiot, but I am trying to swap out a good looking steering wheel for the old crappy one. They are identical. Its on an 89 mustang. I took the center bolt out and it want budge. Am I overlooking another bolt or something? Do I have to have some sort or wheel puller or something? Thanks for the help guys.

you have to either pull extremely hard or use a steering wheel puller

I would suggest the latter... guy I worked with pulled extremely hard once. We all got a laugh when the wheel finally came off and smacked him right in the head.

do it the right way, use a puller there no harm in doing things the right way. doing it the wrong way is always a great way of breaking stuff.

If you try without a puller, put the nut on part way so you don't smack yourself in the nose.
