And thanks so much for letting me know that stock headers work with p's. Im getting pretty excited. I cant wait to go check to see what i have.

So my next few purchases are definatly going to be at least a 373 chunk(that should really wake it up), then a pro50 shifter, then some 1.7s...maybe that will motivate me to finally polish up my ford motorsports tall valve covers that i have been saving for a rainy day. those will look awesome on there i think.

yesterday when i was putting on my new chrome 10 holes, i decided to check everything out under there and was blown away. Full length welded subframe connectors, upper and lower controll arms, front springs, and bigger front disk brakes. I was impressed.

wow...lot of newbs in this thread....welcome guys and yeah sounds like you have a nice starter....and I am pretty sure your gears are the 3.08's hence just over three turns of the driveshaft
