96-97 mountaineer heads/intake

same as the exploders? are the heads gt 40 straight plug or angled p heads? local yard has one wants 200 for the heads and 150 for the upper and lower intake sound right or high thanks Pat

Halfway through 97 they switched to the p's, so you'll have to check the manufacture date, or an easy way to tell is the GT-40's have 3 vertical bars on the front of the head and the p's have 4. and yes the mountaineer is the same as an explorer when it comes to gt-40 stuff. Price isn't bad, as long as they're in good shape.
