Suggestions for an electric water pump or water pump motor.

Ive got a 351w in a '93 Fox (formerly 4cyl.) I bought it as a project car and it has a brand new 351w but it has never been started. I have hit a wall trying to line up the crank pulley with the water pump as they only make crank pulley spacers for aftermarket dampeners. I decided the entire setup will be either buying an electric water pump motor since I have a new water pump or by getting an electric water pump. I'm trying to keep it relatively cheap as I don't have a whole lot of money so if a water pump motor would work I would prefer to go that route but I'm open to suggestions if they are a particularly bad idea. Also can anyone suggest any brands that work well but aren't as expensive.

An aftermarket dampener is alot cheaper than an electric waterpump.

Sounds like you don't have the correct water pump or crank pulley. Are you using a serpentine or v-belt setup?

yeah the waterpump pully you got is proly for a v belt but anyways i know a few people running the electric motor that powers the belt to the waterpump and they are happy with them just make sure its wired very well.

I've got a serpentine setup. I've tried several different combinations of pulleys for the crank and the water pump and haven't made any progress. At this point I'd rather just drop $100 on an electric drive kit and stop wasting time on it. Plus I figure picking up a few more horses can't hurt.
