Problem with new motor

I have a new motor that doesn't seem to be performing at its best. When I gradually push on the gas the engine performs as expected. However, when I try and take off at full throttle the engine just loses all power. Can you help?

I have 165cc ARP heads (61cc), 70mm throttle body, 76mm mass air kit, 24lb injectors, Edelbrock RPM II intake, 1.7 roller rockers, comp cam. What numbers do you need off the cam card?

I forgot... I have aeromotive fuel lines and adjustable fuel regulator. The fuel pressure is set at 39psi. The fuel pump is stock.

lift & duration, rpm range.
did you degree the cam or just stick it in?
when you say it "loses all power", does it buck and jerk, fall flat on it's face and then take off, or does it feel like something is holding it back?

I replied to your question but wasn't sure how to let you know. I'm new to the forum thing.

Make sure the MAF is clean. I had a similar problem with my stock motor, but same exact symtoms. Cleaned the MAF (the wires) and I went from a 16.9@88 to 14.4@95 (bone stock)

The timing is set @10 degrees because that is what the tech guy told me to set it at when I installed the diablosport chip.
To be more specific about what it does at full throttle, it just feels like something is holding it back. It just boggs down and won't gain any power unless I let off the gas and slowly apply throttle.

sounds fuel related to me. For a start, I'd ck the fuel pressure.

Its probably your fuel pump. The stock pump only flows at 88lph and going by the mods you listed your going to need more than that. Its probably not flowing enough fuel in the high rpms.
