Key ingnition...
My car stopped working today,. long story short..i found the problem to be the ignition part thats bolted to the column. To explain the problem,. the car only stays on if a slight pressure is held on the key towards the start position. If i let go, the car will die. anyone have a spare ignition module portion they can sell?

haha this same problem is what got me my 88 for so cheap!!
its simple, just take that part off the column and clean the sliding contacts and apply a little bit of dielectric grease to the copper. its reel simple, just make sure you dont break the small metal tabs that hold the plastic part to the column. |
