anyways i think i fixed it. the inside of my car makes all kinds of funny noises cause the shifter ratteling around metal metal about 4k and up but i went under the hood and revved it manually and it ran smooth as ever. i went out and bought a TCI flexplate for 150.00 its a good thing i had a tranny i just rebuilt and sold 3 xz3 computers and 93hatch finally paid off the heads i sold him like 5 months ago so i think i might go get my gears changed so i can drive this puppy.

My buddy made one pass down the "backroad dragstrip" by his house and took out the main bearings. It only takes a little bit of running time when the engine is out of balance to destroy the bearings. If you can feel it out of balance on the outside, the soft bearings are getting beat up on the inside. Its your car so you can do what you want. If you did any bearing damage it will surely show up more sooner than later. Hopefully if they are damaged that they don't lead to anything else being damaged.

well i thought i fixed it.. i brought it to the machine shop today that built the motor and we think its the converter. i am going to pull it back out and bring them the flexplate to check it and the converter they are going to call in a favor at hughs to see if its balenced.

i asked them and they said if i notice any oil pressure loss then to change the bearings. if it comes to that and it is the converter do you think i can make the place that built the transmission/converter pay for the bearings to be replaced? they warrentied their stuff and if its their faulty part that they said was balenced withen "5 grams" well if its not then arnt they liable.

You'll be lucky to get your money back on the converter, they will never pay for collateral damage.
