Times like this make me wish i had a chevy lol

so the speed shop is doing the last few things before she gets on the dyno and comes home and they were up to the timing and some thing didnt sound right so they took the distributor out and the gear was worn to shit. so now i gota get one put on for 120.00 and im set back to monay

It's really expensive when you dont do the work yourself. Those gears are cheap and the labor is free when you diy.

thats why if i had a chevy i would be in better shape because chevy you can take the gear off by hand basically and ford it is pressed on with a machine. so it is not possible for me to do it by myself

bring it to a machine shop, it shouldnt cost $120... should be wayy cheaper

Well, put a little more effort into it next time. The occasional misspelled word is OK, but this isn't a text message forum. Typing a 5000 word sentence gets you ignored, and can earn you bad rep points. 1337 isn't appreciated very much.
