New heads with stock upper/lwer intake?
ok I was thinkin wat to do a my car next and wondered if I could get good gains out of a good set of heads ? Like without anymore modification than I already have. Help me out guys. It I'd my daily driver so I dontwant anything crazy just something to keep me w the new ones.

I'm 17 and a senior so money is tite but I got a grand at most to spend it doesn't have to be heads just wanted lil more power

gt40p's and an explorer intake mani, heads and intake costed me 525 together

When you're on a budget of $1k and want new stuff, it makes things more difficult than it needs to be. Of course you can buy new Edelbrock or World iron heads for about $5-600 and still have some money for cheap intake, but i'd go with Explorer GT40p stuff. Nothing wrong with used parts.

You can buy one new head for 5-600 bucks but you are far away from buying two

theres like 4 parts on my entire car that are new dude, get them used and have them cleaned up by a machine shop, new springs retainers valve job etc new parts are overrated
