serp rotation means, in i think 85 they changed to a serp belt so the impeller in the water pump is reversed so it spins the opposite way.
you need a serp rotation pump |

stock water pumps for 87-93 foxes are "reverse rotation" pumps which means they rotate counter clock-wise where as standard rotation water pumps like what was used in the 5L Lincolns rotate clock wise.

I've had bad experiences with the rebuilt things (pumps/altnators/starters etc..). They MAY be good for years of trouble-free operation but they may fail in two weeks. In my opinion... I consider the price difference and how hard the component is to change before deciding on new or rebuilt. Even if the rebuilt comes with a lifetime warranty, you still have to swap it out when it fails.

Summit used to sell a high flow chromed unit for $100. Have one on my 88 and it looks good and works very well. Don't know if they still sell them or not.

well i will look for it and see whats up and i think i might have a crack in my radiator with winter coming up and my car being a daily driver i hope i dont break anything on it just changed the oil and thats when i noticed my water pump was leaking the seal is broke or something.
