Making a 93 clone....

Well first I got the body parts from a wrecked 93 cobra(all I need) I got the in side of the car dressed in stock black dash parts, and front and back seats out of a 98 cobra(black leather)

Now for the other stuff. Stock everything....

27,000 stock miles and a great body.

I don't know what to do with the motor, tranny, rear end, well mostly every thing thats making it go fast. I think a turbo setup or a really big twinscrew. Maybe a motor like a dart 331. I got about 35 G's to play with, so I can have a little fun. So what can I do?

I want something in the 11's or deep 10's on pump gas. I going to use megasqurit for the fuel stuff.

yeah you could definitely be in that second range for that much money. In fact, you will have some money left over. Just ship to my address, the address is....

Man looks like you have a great project. Keep us informed!

hahahaha I hoping I got some money left. I'm working on my truck to. A 85 ford f150 with a built 6 and a nice tb40 turbo. I hoping when I get back I can have it running 12s with the 4x4.

But what types of setups I'm I looking at? For the pony?...

well when i talk i usually cause controversy. I know how to get into the 11s just dont have the funds right now to fix up my car. I would say something but one cat always jumps on me for saying something, even though i am right in the instance we were talking about!

haha, just build the motor up. forged internals, good top end kit, poweradder of your choice and you will see 11s all day. gears, drag radial tires or slicks, and upgrade the MAF, injectors, and throttle body. i plan on all that besides the poweradder for me and hope to be in the 12s at least.

since your budget will allow it, you could buy a new block if you felt like it. They are alot better, some people just dont need one, or dont have the funds to do it....whatever you end up doing, get a good tune and then you're set. Its all in the tune when you are up there in HP.

MAF........... I'm goin with Sd

There was my plan to start with.
A 331 dart block, dart 205 heads, custom cam, 88 lb injecters, ssi intake,90mm TB, tko 600, spec 3 clutch, 5 lug 03 cobra rims, baer 13 inch disc brakes, 250 shot of spary, and a novi-2000 running 18 psi.Oh yea and that little fuel stuff too.

But now I want more, a lot more. turbo, bigger superchager, bigger motor,(408) or a really big shot of spray!

By the way, I found this site by looking for car parts. But anyways I found a thread with you a other guy going at it. It was funny.
