Well, if you are looking for a cage / roll bar to do the best job of protecting you and stiffening up your car so it will hook and launch the best, it should land at the rear wheel wells. That's why all of the "kits" are designed that way. When you extend the rear bars out to the rear of a Fox body, you apply forces behind the center point of the spring mounts and flex the uni-structure and unload the suspension. You can bring down tubes off of the rear extended bars and land on the uni-structure near the shock mounts and triangulate the cage but you really should have an experienced cage fabricator do the deed for you.

I think he means you should have someone professionally install it... I'm sure it requires some welding, etc. Also just in my own experience with any "kit," nothing fits perfectly, so fabrication is usually necessary.

S&W makes roll bars and cages that have bars that go all the way back. Roll Bars & Cages Race Car Dragster Chassis, Rollbars, Cages, Suspensions, Parts

Their kits are nice but most likely you are going to have to fab something up for swing out bars. You can buy the parts or the swing out kit but I haven't seen a kit that comes with the swing out kit.
