transbrake


Any one know how to build there own to save some cash? If not how can I tell what year mine is. I used to know what year it was when it was built for me but I no longer do.

i doubt you can build one.....its in the valvebody of the trans isnt it....

it can be added to a transmission. they are about 400.00 make sure u have a converter built with antibalooning plates for it. i just put a transbreak equipped c4 in my car.

How do you like it? I have been thinking of a 4 speed top loader t-5 or the transbrake

well a 4 speed toploader and a t-5 are 2 differnt things. i havent had a chance to use the trans break at the track but i tried it in the parking lot. i will say if u want to be fast get a built c4 with a transbreak or an aod but they are a lil harder to build.
