302 to 351


I have a 1994 GT with a 302 in it. I just locked up the 302 and i have a 351w in my garage i was wondering if anyone would tell me how hard it would be to put it in and what i would need to get and do.

the 351 windsor is a straight swap bbk makes a set of shorty swap headers that bolts right on to your exhaust pipes everything is the same as 302 depending on front spring pressure sway bar may make contact with oil pan solution simple use one inch thick spacer block between sway bar frame mounts and 1 inch longer bolts drawback prepare for new rear rubber haha

I thought u could use any 302 shorty headers? Or does that go for only fox bodys?

302 shorty will bolt up, but H-pipe wont line up and you might
have some steering shaft clearance issues.

i think you have to get a new hood....unless you get drop mounts...its like not even a inch to tall....i read this in 5.0 mag so dont yell if im wrong
