What should I do first?

So this winter I am gonna be tinkering with my Notch while I save up money to get a 2.3 Whipple for my Cobra. Before buy any mods for the Notch I want to get my fan clearance issues figured out, fix a small tranny leak I have, and clean up the engine bay really good. I am gonna be trying to piece together the parts I need for a 5 lug 4 disc brake swap. Until then what do you guys reccomend doing? I was thnkign best bang for my buck would be to get rid of the damn stock gears and go with some FRPP 3.73's and the appropriate speedo gear first. Anyone have a better idea as far as bang for the buck? This is my current mods.

Eibach pro-kit lowering springs
KYB gas-a-just Shocks/Struts
Complete Energy Suspension master bushing kit
Energy Suspension motor mounts
BBK shorty headers
BBK X Pipe with cats
Pypes stainless cat-back
BBK fenderwell cold-air kit
Red-Top Optima Battery
BBK Underdrive Pullies
FRPP Master Clutch Kit with aluminum Flywheel

I don't drive it on the highway much, I'm not worried about fuel consumption. i thought about 3.55's but probably gonna go with the 3.73's.

Haha, well thanks. I was thinking that 4k sounded like alot. So would 3.73's be sufficient or should I go with 4.10's?

3.73's good place to start.

You will "feel" it and hwy rpm's aren't that bad, maybe 2,500-2,700 at 70mph

i'd go at least 3.90s, 4.10s ideally if you're using a 26" tall tire.

I think you should get the whipple and give me a ride, My buddy has an o4 with a built motor and the big kenny bell that dyno'd 706 and that things a god damn monster, I love riding in that car. I've seen him trash cars that dyno higher than his cause it leaves like a mother, and it's just relentless pulling. Like if you race him in a turbo car you better have no lag and a good set up cause I've seen him race turbo cobra's and he'll jump out so far before there in full boost it's crazy.

I plan on getting subframe connectors, the gears, and some good tires. Traction bars will have to wait. Tune up is coming this week. I plan on going 306 H/C/I at some point so are 3.73's still what you reccomend?

Oh GotN20, where ya from? if I get the Whipple I will definately give ya a ride if your local.
